Meet the team.

Mike Allegre

Mike began his sportscasting career while at Central Washington University (1980-83) following an honorable discharge from the Air Force. He has since called hundreds of high school and college ball games and has been honored for his work by the Associated Press and Salem Sports & Breakfast Club.

Mike initiated radio coverage of Willamette University Bearcat men's basketball games in 1991. The "Voice of the Bearcats," Mike's also been calling WU basketball since 2000. A State 3A Girl's Basketball Tournament announcer (1985-94) for many Oregon stations, Mike was the lead announcer for the first four NAIA Women's Division II basketball tourneys. He co-founded Salem's first college radio station, KWBX (FM 90.3), which began operation in 2002 at Corban College (formerly Western Baptist).

"I've been doing play-by-play since I was a kid--calling games while watching TV and talking into pretend-microphones. I love broadcasting ballgames with friends and covering games that are out of town so fans who can't attend can "watch it" with me on the radio or Internet. God's given me the gift of gab, so I'm doing as He asks and using my gift."

A seasonal sportscaster and former volunteer youth sports coach, Mike works for the Oregon Department of Veterans' Affairs as a public affairs specialist. Major Allegre retired from the Oregon Air National Guard in January 2007 after proudly serving 21 years as a public affairs officer (25 years total military service). Between them, he and wife Suzanne have five children.

Mark Gilman

Mark has been a sportscaster since 1986, announcing games on radio, television, and the Internet for a variety of sports at the Little League, High School, and College levels. His on-air experience includes a total of 15 Oregon High School Athletic Championship contests. Mark has been honored for his broadcasting work by the Associated Press, the Salem (Oregon) Sports and Breakfast Club, and the Oregon Athletic Coaches Association.

A long time English and Public Speaking teacher at the high school level, Mark spent nearly a decade as a full time broadcaster. He won numerous awards as a radio news reporter in the Salem metropolitan area before becoming a full time educator in 1990. However, Mark still enjoys staying active as a sports announcer.

"My sports announcing experience goes all the way back to my high school days, so I can hardly envision my life without it," says Mark. "It’s both a pleasure and an honor to be able to describe the action of an exciting sports event with listeners. Full Access Sports is a great way to share with even more people who love sports action.”

Mark and his wife, Theresa, and their three daughters are long time members of the Salem community, and enjoy a long list of sports as participants and spectators. Mark also is an enthusiastic, but part time hiker who loves to explore the mountains of Oregon.

Mark Malinowski

Mark is a broadcast veteran of more than 25 years.  Credits on his resume include broadcasting high school, college, and pro baseball, basketball and
football play by play.

The Oregon Association of Broadcasters selected Mark to do state tournament feeds for 12 years and he was selected as radio sportscaster of the year in 1999 and 2002.

Currently Mark owns a Gold's Gym franchise in Bend where he and his family have lived for over 35 years.

In his spare time he coaches 7th and 8th grade football and as a member of the Oregon slow-pitch softball Hall of Fame continues to play more than 75 games each summer.

Still married to the same woman for almost 40 years, Mark has two great sons, a swell daughter-in-law, and two wonderful grand kids.

"I love doing high school sports, because you never know what's going to
happen and the kids give you 150% all the time."

Craig Spivey

Craig is a veteran of more than 20 years of broadcasting. He received his broadcasting degree from Oregon State University in 1981, and has worked in radio and print journalism.

Craig has had the opportunity to broadcast championship games at the international, national, and state level for youth, high school, and collegiate teams.

For the past nine years, Craig has served as the color commentator for  Willamette University football, and has been one of the main play-by-play announcers on network coverage of the Little League Softball World Series.

In addition to his broadcast duties, Craig serves as the public information officer for the Oregon Employment Department. He and his wife Elisa have four children and enjoy camping and activities with their church.

“I have been blessed to have the best seat in the house for exciting sporting events, and I look forward to the opportunities for expanded coverage through Full Access Sports. I welcome our listeners to come along for the ride.”
