COACH COMMENTS ON TEAM/LEAGUE
We have a lot of returning players, but our two leading scorers last year were seniors. Most of our team is made up of juniors (we have only three seniors), so we still have a lot of learning to do. We don't have great size or athleticism, but the kids can pass and shoot a little bit. If would could finish fourth (in the conference) that would be a good year.
West Salem is going to have three Division-I athletes on its team--that is going to be hard to match up with. Redmond has its two best players back and has five very good players. Sprague also returns a solid nucleus from a good team last year. McKay (although they lost a lot) is very quick and athletic which is really going to match the style of basketball they are going to play this year.
