COACH COMMENTS ON TEAM/LEAGUE

The Saxons expect to compete for the top 3-4 spots in the CVC.  We will be a balanced offensive team.  We hope to be an improved in the areas of rebounding and interior defense.  During a tough pre-season schedule (Barlow, Tualatin, Wilson, & Beaverton), we hope to learn to play together with a new mix of players.

McNary should be the league favorite as they return 7 very experienced players from last years CVC championship squad. The rest of the league could finish in any order. North Salem, Sprague, & McKay all return 3-4 talented lettermen.  West Salem and Redmond return fewer players, but have two of the top players in the CVC (Saba & Leunen). The CVC will be improved this year and every night will be a battle.
