Battle at the top expected for CVC 2009
Coaches split between Sprague, South, West in Survey

Just like last year, Central Valley Conference coaches are divided on who will rule the football roost for the 2009 football season.

An exclusive Full Access Sports poll of all seven conference football coaches split the first place votes between Sprague, South Salem and West Salem.

Sprague tallied 32 points and was selected to finish first by three coaches. The other four top picks went to South Salem (28 points) and West Salem (26).

McNary was tabbed for fourth place, followed by McKay, Redmond and North Salem.

Most teams begin their non-league schedules September 4, with conference play set to begin September 25.
